Marc is a classically trained pianist and is a graduate of Houston Baptist University, class of 2016. He majored in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and was the pianist for the HBU choir on a music scholarship. He completed his degree in 3 years along with full time scientific research and music classes in addition to his required courses.
At the early age of 4, Marc was placed in private piano lessons where his talent grew and has progressed in classical training till the present day. He has played the piano at his church for 5+ years and has been teaching piano to students and peers for over 7 years. He has played in over 40 recitals throughout his life both in music schools and at HBU. He has won two music awards since high school and has competed in the Houston Young Artist competitions.
As for his career goals, Marc is en route to becoming a medical professional, currently interviewing for medical and optometry schools. His love and passion for piano and sciences go hand in hand and he is equally committed to both.
Marc’s style of teaching caters to each individual student’s needs while making the lessons fun, exciting, and relatable. He aims to make learning enjoyable and something to look forward to weekly. He hopes to become a pediatrician and has proven to work very well with students of all ages.
