Kailea is a talented musician and offers violin lessons in The Woodlands. She enjoys sharing her love of music and arts and loves working with students of all ages. Her passion for the violin translates in a fun and dynamic approach to teaching.
Kailea began playing the violin at the age of 10 and has never put her violin down since. She eventually advanced into her high school’s top Chamber Orchestra 1st violin section. As a result, she received awards for solo performances at numerous Solo & Ensemble Competitions and was awarded a musical scholarship!
After high school, she continued her orchestral studies under the direction of the renowned Dr. Eiki Isomura at Lone Star College. During this time, she performed in the string orchestra and guest-starred with the acclaimed Zodiac Trio.
She received her Associate of Arts from Lone Star College – Montgomery in 2014. Later, she earned a certificate in Travel and Tourism Industry Management from the University of Hawaii in 2016.
Kailea is a Worship Leader for the Children’s Ministry at her church. In addition to teaching Sunday school for 7 years, she has been a leader in the Youth Ministry for 2 years. Through her position, she has much experience working with children and youth ages 2 – 18. Especially relevant, Kailea greatly understands the importance of adapting lesson plans and curriculum to accommodate each student’s individual needs. She feels that allowing a student to learn at a pace based on their educational needs allows them to grow a strong foundation in violin and theory.
Kailea’s goal is to equip and enable her students to better enjoy the world of music and to encourage, motivate, and inspire them on their musical journey!
