Diane is a fun and experienced certified teacher in the Woodlands and Rayford area. In college, Diane graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Honors. She graduated from the College of Wooster with a B.A. in International Relations. She has lived all over the United States before settling in The Woodlands late in 2011. One of her moves required her to home school her two children. With this change, Diane taught her children from late elementary through middle school. Looking back, this began her career in education.
Moving forward, she began working in public schools in 2008. Diane has a very broad experience ranging from preschool deaf education to high school honors biology. Her specialty is working one on one with students who struggle academically or have special education needs. In addition, she excels especially in 5th-9th grade students.
As a teacher, Diane tries to get to know her students’ unique learning styles and customize the instruction to meet each student’s needs. Having previously worked as a biology instructional aide for Conroe ISD, she is also is a certified teacher working for Spring ISD. She currently teaches all core subjects 4th-8th grade and special education K-12 in the local school system. Diane looks forward to imparting her love of learning and enthusiasm for education to all her students.
